If you’re an HCF member with extras cover, you can use the More for Teeth program to receive 100% back on a range of common diagnostic and preventive services. These services include 1-2 dental check-ups per calendar year, scale and clean, fluoride treatment, and mouthguards. It’s important to note that this offer is subject to your annual limits and any waiting periods that may apply.

According to HCF, Some members may not receive the Maximum Program Benefit depending on their level of cover and/or their available entitlements. Depending on the level of cover, HCF members with extras cover, will be able to claim 100% back on a selection of common diagnostic and preventive services, including:
- Intraoral periapical or bitewing radiograph – initial film: Up to 4 per day
- Panoramic radiograph (OPG): Up to 3 in any 5 year period. HCF Members can claim any combination of three of the following items in 5 year period – 037, 039 and 026. For the avoidance of doubt, only item 037 is covered by this Agreement.
- Up to 2 of any of these items per year: Comprehensive, Periodic or Limited Oral Examination
- Up to 2 of any of these items per year: Removal of plaque and/or stain, Removal of calculus – first visit, Removal of calculus – subsequent visit
- Fluoride Treatment: Up to 1 per year
- Mouthguards: Up to 2 per year
