Dr Thomas Sakha-Pour

Dr Thomas chose dentistry because he wanted to help people in a hands-on, meaningful way. What drives him most is knowing that a patient who walked in anxious might walk out feeling differently about the dentist — that’s the part of the job he genuinely loves.

He brings serious clinical depth to that care. After studying microbiology in Canada, he moved to Australia and completed both a Bachelor of Dental Health Science and a Master of Dentistry at Griffith University — earning academic excellence awards in both programs. He then spent two and a half years as the sole dentist running a busy practice in regional Rockhampton, handling everything from emergency surgical extractions and complex root canal treatments to cosmetic dentistry and advanced restorations. He has since completed two years of intensive restorative training with a well-regarded continuing education provider in restorative dentistry.

Originally Canadian, Dr Thomas speaks fluent English and Farsi and now calls Brisbane home. When he’s not at the clinic, he’s at CrossFit or discovering new corners of the city with friends.
